Fleur does not like the Gales and Heavy Rain.

Whilst talking to Fleur yesterday, she was explaining how much she dislikes the strong Gales and very heavy wind, she finds it hard to remain on her feet with the winds, and the heavy rain actually hurts her, I must think of some way to protect her, if she does have to go out in it. Have you got any ideas? I would love to hear them.

Where has this week gone.

Fleur and I were talking last evening over a cup of honey acorn tea, which Fleur adores and we were both just bemused with where the time is going. The days are just rolling past so fast. It only seems yesterday that Fleur and her friends were celebrating the beginning of Summer now Fleur is firmly focussed on the Christmas celebrations to come. Then we shall both be focussed on the publication of the book in 2011. We will keep you posted. Don't forget we need you drawings.
Have a great week end one and all.

Fleurs Questions

Hello, I am Fleur, a very small Pocket Mouse, I wonder what you think I look like, do you think you could draw a picture of me and post it on this blog? You could also send pictures of how you see things from the Prequels, in your minds eye. I would love to see your pictures.

We have been thinking of a completion for whose likeness of me is closest to the real thing, would you like that, what would you like as a prize, your picture in the book maybe? Think about it and let me know.

Contract signed

Yesterday was unfortunately a bad day, hence no blog, but today is much better, have just signed seven year contract with Publishers so Fleur is on her way. Over the next days and weeks we will keep you up to date with progress and our own thoughts. I would love to hear from any of you out there, and am thinking of a competition for an illustration of Fleur. What do you think?

Fleurs Sunday

Fleur enjoys Sundays, as being a day of gathering all her family and friends around her, all enjoying a bring and share lunch, then talking with each other and games and quizzes for the children. Fleur's is a happy environment, but sometimes, just sometimes she feels there is something missing. Oh she knows how lucky she is, what a wonderful life and family she has but sometimes she thinks there must just be more. Sunday's talking with friends tends to bring this home even more, as she listens to all she hears both the good and the bad. Cederick and she both know instinctively they must ponder this question and see if they can resign themselves with an answer they can both live with.

Join me over the next few days and weeks as they explore these questions.

Hypothetically I wonder what Fleur would think!

I had a strange restless night last night, and at one point I found myself in conversation with Fleur, who was very excited at becoming known to many more people in the future, but also a little apprehensive, being only a very little Pocket Mouse, she hopes that no one tries to find her home, as she has spent all this time getting it to a place of immense beauty. I reassured her that would not happen and she would remain as elusive as ever, but have the knowledge that she is loved by her audience. We both seemed to sleep then. Strange world.
